History of Thai Student Association

The Thai Student Association (TSA) was officially founded as a registered organization at University of Wisconsin-Madison in fall 1987. The organization started with only about 30 members. Since then, TSA has represented Thai Student body not only on the campus, but also in the city of Madison and the state of Wisconsin. Among activities that have become TSA traditions are semesterly Welcome-Potluck Party, Cultural shows, Sports Day and Graduation Party.

Objective

  • Representing Thai Students, Thai community at UW-Madison and in Madison area
  • Acting as a medium for members to keep in touch with one another
  • Promoting Thai Culture, and providing information for those who are interested in the country of Thailand
